Dominican-American singer smuggling drugs in his stomach
Jimmy Bauer, whose real name is Jaime Vargas, was trying to board a flight to the United States when customs and drug authorities stopped him for "strange behavior,"  88 pellets were extracted from his stomach. Authorities initially suspected the pellets contained cocaine, but laboratory tests showed it was 1.04 kilograms (2.2 pounds) of pure heroin......

Do not use Verizon roaming in Dominican Republic(Update 2)
If Carlos Mota from the US had $17,505 lying around, he would be able to pay off his house. As it is, that's the amount Verizon expected him to cough up in one bill this summer after visiting Dominican Republic.
