The body of a German who was killed by multiple stab wounds, including one in the heart, was found on Wednesday afternoon behind the counter of the Dutch airline Martinair International Airport General Gregorio Luperon La Union, Sosua.

The victim is Eric Zipfel, 46, whose badly decomposed body was discovered in a small room, because of the smell it gave off, which drew the attention of the airline staff thought it was a mouse or one animal died and began his search.

However, to surprise, instead of a dead animal, which was located the bloody corpse of Zipfel, who had several puncture wounds on his body inflicted by his killer, whose name is unknown, with a long sharp knife still was stuck in the heart.

The body of the victim was examined by the coroner of Sosua, Dr. Freddy Salazar and removed the body from abroad, to be taken to the Regional Institute of Forensic Pathology, Santiago de los Caballeros, was ordered by the auditor Miguel Ricardo (Gelo).

Members of the Homicide Department of the Northern Regional Directorate of Police to the scene where he found the body of Erich Zipfel, to initiate investigations into the violent death of the alien, which could not be established if he lived here and was tourist.

Zipfel's crime caused surprise among employees and people who were visiting at the airport, on the grounds that there was in full airport terminal where continuous surveillance 24 hours a day, which was challenged by the person or persons responsible of this bloody deed .
